Mara is a Master Pilates instructor with over 15 years of teaching experience. She quickly became recognized for training the industries most elite NFL and UFC athletes.

She is known for her  warm and genuine demeanor and the sheer intensity of her sessions, using her signature Parallel Pilates Method.  But Pilates is about more than a hard workout, and for Mara, that means focusing on her clients’ minds as much as their bodies.

This holistic approach starts with Mara’s personal connection to each client and the individual attention she gives to that person. Her method is designed to provide benefits beyond the studio — she creates comprehensive plans for each client that they can use at home, on the field and during the season and when they travel.

That personal attention is never more important than when she is working in one of the most important offerings at her studio, helping clients prepare both for childbirth and surgery, and then giving them the strength and support to recover afterward.

Beyond Pilates, Mara’s other great joy in life are her kids, ages 6 and 8.  With a deep focus on overall wellness — something that is at the core of her practice and her personal belief — the most important thing to Mara is to encourage clients to use her training to stay healthy and strong throughout the day.

“The best reward for me is to see bodies improve and stay better.” In the end, that’s what it’s all about.
